Sinapsis was a ephimeral installation for Alacrán brand to exhibit at the yearly exhibition of ephemeral IED Master. We were inspire for the way tequila Alacrán connects people and creates a space of sharing not just a drink but a moment in life. So we build a mapped space out of invisible threads and a thousands MDF laser cut pieces. The threads represent the drink that create connexion and the MDF pieces, the people connected that create something bigger.

Thanks to this mapping, we create an interactive installation in which the viewer has two different points of views. When the viewer see the installation from the front, there a shape of an scorpion (which is the logo of the brand). And when the viewer explore the installation from the side, there is a shape of a bottle pouring in a glass (simulating the Alacrán tequila bottle pouring a shot). | Materials: fishing thread, mdf, spray paint, mirror film, paper board |
